Çanakkale Bridge became a favourite for holidaymakers from Europe
As an alternative route to Istanbul traffic, this bridge also offers an important alternative for those who do not like Istanbul traffic during their travels.
By using this new road, it will be easier to reach Central Anatolia Region via Balıkesir, Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar. Holidaymakers, who previously connected to Ankara via Istanbul and continued their journey from there, will be able to travel more comfortably on this route, even though the road is longer in kilometres.
Passing to Konya via Balıkesir:
With the commissioning of the new bridge, holidaymakers entering Turkey with their cars from Kapıkule are connected to the new motorway from Silivri. From here, the drivers who reach Çanakkale via Tekirdağ can pass from Balıkesir to İzmir and Afyonkarahisar.
From Afyonkarahisar, the Central Anatolia Region is reached by following the Ankara and Konya directions.
