Turkey among the world's most popular tourism countries
Titan Travel has identified the most visited cities and countries in different categories by looking at TikTok views, Instagram post counts and Google search trends for holidays to these destinations and their changes over the last three years.
Italy, which ranked first in the list of the world's most popular country destinations with Instagram and TikTok posts with 9.09 points, is one of the most popular countries on social media. Italy, followed by Mexico with 8.94 points, while Turkey, ranked third with 8.03 points, ranked among the World's Most Popular Country Destinations.
The most beautiful country in the world was India. In the list where Japan ranked second and Italy ranked third, Turkey managed to enter the top 10 and ranked 10th.
London, the capital of England, topped the list of the world's most popular city destinations with a travel score of 9.52 out of 10. It was followed by Paris with 9.32 points and Barcelona with 9.25 points. From Turkey, Istanbul ranked 5th with 8.30 points.
In the list of the world's most photogenic destinations, London was again at the top, while Paris was ranked second and Istanbul was ranked 3rd.
